MOOKERJI INNOVATION FUND: KSU ALUM RAISES $2+ MILLION FOR AI STARTUP

HappyDoc, a business founded by Kennesaw State University alumnus Emerson Smith with support from the University’s Mookerji Innovation Fund, raised $2.2 million during a recent round of funding, positioning the company to increase its investment in technology and grow its staff.

KENNESAW STATE: MOOKERJI INNOVATION FUND

The Inventing New Companies program at Kennesaw State University is making more than $120,000 annually in startup capital available to students and recent alumni with exciting, tech-based business ideas.

CREATIVE DESTRUCTION LABS, ATLANTA

Mookerji Foundation supported the creation of the Atlanta chapter of the Creative Destruction Lab. Sid Mookerji became one of two Founding Partners in 2020.

GEORGIA TECH ATDC RETAIL INDUSTRY VERTICAL

In 2017, Georgia Tech's ATDC introduced RetailTech, an initiative for retail-focused entrepreneurs, backed by a $1 million donation from the Mookerji Foundation to Georgia Tech Foundation.
